The Yaesu FL-50 is an early tube-type HF transmitter from 1966 that delivers 50 W PEP on the 80 to 10 meter bands using eight tubes with a 6JS6A final amplifier. It was designed as the transmitting companion to the FR-50 receiver and operates in AM, SSB and CW. As one of the first SSB-capable Yaesu products, it marks an important step in the company's early history.
