The Yaesu FR-101 is a general-coverage HF receiver built from 1974 onward, designed as a companion to the popular FT-101 transceiver. It covers 1.8-30 MHz continuously across 21 switchable sub-ranges, so it is not limited to the classic amateur bands. Optional internal converters for the 6 meter and 2 meter bands were available, and it also supports RTTY reception.
