Description

The Yaesu FR-50 is an early tube/transistor HF receiver for amateur radio use, manufactured from 1966. It covers the 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands across six switchable ranges, including an extra range for receiving the Japanese JJY time signal station. As a receive-only unit it was typically paired with the matching FL-50 transmitter to form a transmit/receive station.
