The Yaesu FL-101 is a 1970s tube transmitter that, with a 12BY7A driver and two 6JS6C final tubes, delivers up to 200 W PEP on SSB (80 W AM, 200 W CW, 80 W FSK). It covers 160 through 10 meters and, with the optional FTV-250 or FTV-650B transverters, could also operate on 2m and 6m. Paired with the matching FR-101 receiver, it formed a complete separate-transmitter/receiver station setup for serious radio amateurs.
