The Icom (Inoue) IC-6F is a compact 6-meter FM amateur radio transceiver from the early 1970s, designed for mobile use. The unit operates on six crystal-controlled channels and uses a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver for stable FM reception. With an output power of over 10 watts and rugged construction, it was a typical representative of early VHF mobile radios.
