The Icom IC-20 is an analog 2 m FM mobile transceiver from the early 1970s featuring 12 channelized, crystal-controlled memory positions. Its double-conversion superheterodyne receiver, with 10.7 MHz and 455 kHz intermediate frequencies, achieves a sensitivity of 0.4 µV for 20 dB quieting. Output power is switchable between 10 W and 1 W, with modulation via a variable reactance phase modulation system.
