Description

The Trio/Kenwood TR-7010 is a crystal-controlled 2-meter mobile transceiver for SSB and CW from the mid-to-late 1970s. Unlike the contemporary FM mobiles of the 7000 series, it targeted amateurs wanting narrowband DX and contest operation on 144 MHz. With a noise blanker, RIT fine tuning and a compact mobile housing, it offered a solid feature set for its era.
