Description

The Kenwood TR-3500 is the 70cm counterpart to the popular 2m TR-2500 handheld, introduced in 1982 as a compact, fully synthesized UHF FM transceiver. With 10 memory channels, 1.5 watts of output power (high), and a slim 66 x 168 x 40 mm housing, it was a practical companion for mobile UHF amateur operation. Depending on the market version, it covers either the European 430-439.995 MHz range or the US 440-449.995 MHz range. Its double-conversion superheterodyne receiver delivers good reception sensitivity.
