Description
The Icom IC-490E is an amateur radio mobile transceiver for the 70 cm band (430-440 MHz), produced from 1982 onward. It supports SSB and FM modes with a maximum output power of 10 watts, switchable to a 1 W low-power setting. The compact unit offers 5 memory channels, repeater operation with 1750 Hz tone burst, and adjustable repeater offsets in 100 kHz steps.
