Description

The Icom IC-551D is a dedicated 6-meter amateur radio base station from the early 1980s, featuring a triple-conversion superheterodyne receiver for AM, SSB and CW. Output power reaches up to 50 watts on SSB/CW and 40 watts on AM. An optional FM unit was available, along with features such as noise blanker, VOX and passband tuning.
