Description
Introduced in 2025, the Yaesu FTX-1 Field is the modern successor to the FT-817/818 series: a portable multiband all-mode radio for HF, 6m, 2m, and 70cm with a direct-sampling SDR receiver, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, and C4FM digital voice (Fusion). It can optionally be upgraded to up to 100 watts via the SPA-1 docking amplifier.
