The Yaesu VR-120 is a very compact handheld scanning receiver that packed wide coverage from 0.1 to 1300 MHz in AM, FM and WFM into a pocket-sized case from 2000 onward. With 640 memory channels across 10 banks, dual-watch capability and an internal ferrite antenna for medium wave, it targeted entry-level scanner users and travellers. It runs on just two AA batteries.
