The Kenwood TH-47E from 1991 is the most compact model in the classic 70cm Pocket series, setting new standards with 40 memory channels and four power levels. Its especially slim housing (50 x 125 x 38 mm) made it one of the smallest amateur radio handhelds of its time. In addition to a clock and timer function, it features a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver for reliable reception even with weak signals. It rounds out the TH-41/45/46/47 model line.
