Description

The Kenwood TH-55 is a specialized handheld for the 23cm amateur band (1258-1300 MHz) -- not 2 meters, despite what the model number might suggest. Introduced in 1988/89, it delivers up to 1 watt of output power, a backlit display, and a DTMF keypad for repeater operation. As one of the few commercially produced 23cm handhelds, it is now a sought-after collector's item.
