The Icom IC-230 is an analog 2 m mobile transceiver for amateur radio introduced in 1975, one of Icom's early PLL-synthesized transceiver designs. It operates in FM only across 144-148 MHz with 10 watts of output power and features a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver. The rig offers switchable repeater shift of ±600 kHz and was designed for vehicle mobile installation.
