Description

The Icom IC-PCR1500 is a second-generation PC-controlled wideband receiver covering a substantially extended 0.01 to 3300 MHz. It connects to the computer via USB and is operated entirely through Windows software; an optional control head ships only with the otherwise identical sister model IC-R1500. Reception is in AM, FM, WFM, SSB and CW, with SSB and CW limited to the range up to 1300 MHz. Its feature set includes two band-scope modes (by bandwidth or over time) plus a multi-channel monitor that watches up to 25 channels simultaneously on screen. A firmware update adds Windows Vista support and optional P25 digital reception.
