Description
The Icom IC-R6 is a widely used wideband handheld receiver with continuous coverage from 0.1–1310 MHz in AM, FM and WFM. Built as a triple-conversion superheterodyne, it offers 1100 regular plus 200 auto-write memory channels and a very fast scan rate. CTCSS/PL and DTCS tone scan, VSC and a ferrite bar antenna for medium wave are included, with programming via USB. Two AA cells (alkaline or NiMH) provide long operating times; the unit is available in black, blue and red.
