The Radtel RT16 is a license-free PMR446 handheld for hotels, small businesses, and outdoor use with USB-C charging. At 0.5 watts it sits exactly at the European PMR446 power ceiling and needs no registration. In the US, Radtel sells the same hardware as a 2W FRS variant -- that US version is not approved for use in Germany. The feature set is deliberately minimal for users wanting a turn-on-and-talk radio with no programming.
