Description

The Kenwood TS-890S is a high-end HF/6m transceiver featuring a direct-sampling SDR receiver and dual 32-bit DSPs for outstanding receiver dynamics. Its 7-inch color display with bandscope and waterfall gives operators excellent situational awareness across the band. With a built-in automatic antenna tuner, Ethernet connectivity, and refined ergonomics, it targets serious DXers and contesters. It is widely regarded as one of the most capable amateur radios just below Kenwood's flagship TS-990S.
