Description

The 1979 Kenwood TS-180S was one of Kenwood's first HF transceivers to feature a fully digital frequency display, covering 160 through 10 meters in SSB, CW and FSK (RTTY) at 100 watts output. Two additional freely tunable 500 kHz AUX ranges plus WWV reception at 10 MHz extend listening beyond the amateur bands. Its solid metal cabinet made it a popular base station for the home shack in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
