Description
The Icom IC-449A is a compact 70 cm mobile transceiver for amateur radio, built in Japan in the early 1990s. It covers 440-450 MHz in FM mode and offers switchable output power from 5 to 35 watts. Equipped with a CTCSS/PL encoder, double-conversion superheterodyne receiver, and 20 memory channels, it is well suited for repeater operation.
