Description

The Icom IC-RX7 is an unusually slim, weather-resistant handheld wideband receiver (scanner) of the generation following the IC-R5/R6, released in 2008. It receives continuously from 0.15 to 1300 MHz in AM, FM and wide FM (WFM), covering long, medium and short wave up into the UHF range. As a triple-conversion superheterodyne with 1600 alphanumeric memories, scan edge pairs and a CTCSS/DTCS decoder it is aimed at scanner applications. A built-in ferrite bar improves medium-wave reception, and the casing is splash resistant to IPX4. Remote control is possible via the Icom CI-V interface.
