Description

The Icom IC-R8600 is a modern, SDR-based wideband communications receiver covering 10 kHz to 3000 MHz. It handles analog modes (AM, FM, WFM, SSB, CW, FSK) as well as several digital modes (including D-Star, dPMR, NXDN, P25). A 4.3-inch touchscreen presents a high-resolution real-time spectrum scope with waterfall display. Via USB and LAN the receiver can be operated with the RS-R8600 PC remote-control software, and it also provides a 10.7 MHz IF output and an IQ data output. This makes the unit suitable for demanding radio amateurs as well as government and monitoring users.
