Description

The Icom IC-R9500 is the high-end flagship among Icom wideband receivers, covering the range from 5 kHz to 3335 MHz continuously. It operates in the modes AM, AM-Sync, FM, WFM, SSB, CW and FSK; digital P25 voice is available as an option. Five roofing filters, DSP signal processing and a large TFT display with high-resolution spectrum scope deliver excellent reception and signal analysis. Via an RS-232C/USB interface and the CI-V protocol the receiver can be remotely controlled from a PC. Professionally built, the unit was offered from 2007 as a reference and measurement receiver.
