Description

The President Lincoln is a multi-standard mobile transceiver for 10-meter amateur radio and export CB use, offered by President Electronics from the mid-1980s. Depending on the version, it covered 170 to 440 channels between 26 and 29.7 MHz and delivered up to 10 watts on AM/FM and 21 watts PEP on SSB. Equipped with a frequency counter, SWR and modulation meters, and a Local/DX switch, it achieved near-cult status among radio amateurs before production ended in 2004 and it was succeeded by the Lincoln II.
