The President Jackson was a powerful multi-standard mobile transceiver that President Electronics offered from 1982, initially with a silver front panel and later a black one. The five-band unit covered 226 channels from 26.065 to 28.315 MHz and delivered up to 10 watts on AM/FM and 21 watts PEP on SSB. It was among the most sought-after CB export radios of its era and was superseded by the norm-compliant Jackson II in the late 1990s.
