Description

The Kenwood TH-K7 is a very compact dual-band handheld transceiver for 2m and 70cm, manufactured from 2003 mainly for the Japanese/Asian market. With only 300 mW of output power, it is designed for minimal current draw and low weight, and it runs on two standard AA batteries. The receiver additionally covers a wide frequency range of 76-900 MHz, allowing reception of broadcast and airband frequencies as well. Due to its low output power, it is best suited for short-range use and operation through repeaters.
