Description

The Kenwood TH-F7E is a compact dual-band handheld transceiver for the 2m and 70cm amateur bands, introduced in 2001 for the European market. It is the dual-band sister model to the tri-band TH-F6A already listed in this catalog, which additionally covers the (in Europe unusable anyway) US 220 MHz band. Beyond 2m/70cm amateur operation, the TH-F7E offers a wideband receiver from 100 kHz to 1300 MHz with AM, FM and SSB/CW reception below 470 MHz. With full-duplex capability, CTCSS/DCS and a rugged housing, it remains a versatile classic for portable use.
