The Kenwood TH-405E is the 70cm counterpart to the 2m TH-205 model, covering the 430-440 MHz amateur band. With up to 5 watts of output and 3 memory channels, it was a simple, compact UHF handheld from the late 1980s. It shares its housing and control layout with Kenwood's TH-2/3/4 series.
