Description

NOTE: The TH-31A is a US/North America-only device for the 220 MHz amateur band (1.25m) allocated there -- this band does not exist in Europe/Germany, so no "E" variant was ever made. The Kenwood TH-31A is a compact single-band handheld transceiver, introduced in the mid-1980s alongside the 2m TH-21 series. With up to 1 W output, a rugged metal case and simple operation, it was a typical example of Kenwood's early compact handhelds. Given its band allocation, the radio is today mainly of interest to North American collectors and operators.
