The Icom IC-729 is a compact amateur radio base station for HF and 6 m, produced between 1992 and 1994. It covers all classic HF bands from 160 to 10 m including the WARC bands as well as the 6 m band, delivering 10 to 100 watts of output power depending on mode. The transceiver features a triple-conversion receiver, CI-V computer control, and 22 memory channels with split and scan-edge functions.
