The Icom IC-2SET is a compact 2-meter handheld transceiver for amateur radio use, introduced in 1989/1990 and designed for FM operation in the 144–146 MHz band. It offers 48 memory channels with priority function and programmable repeater offset, along with a DTMF keypad and 10 DTMF memories. Its double-conversion superheterodyne receiver with a 455 kHz second IF provides high sensitivity of 0.18 µV at 12 dB SINAD.
