The Icom IC-2N is a compact handheld transceiver for the 2 m amateur radio band operating in FM mode. It uses a double-conversion superheterodyne receiver design and offers two selectable RF power levels (1.5 W and 150 mW) for flexible battery operation. It is one of the classic, widely used handheld radios of the early 1980s.
