Description
The Icom IC-290D is a compact 2 m mobile amateur radio transceiver supporting SSB, CW and FM, introduced in the early 1980s. It offers switchable output power, five memory channels and repeater offset adjustable in 100 kHz steps. A noise blanker and a 1750 Hz repeater tone burst round out the feature set.
