Description

The Icom IC-R72 is a compact shortwave communications receiver offered from 1990 as a simpler, more affordable alternative to the IC-R71. It covers 30 kHz to 30 MHz as a double-conversion superheterodyne in AM, SSB and CW, with FM available via the UI-8 option. With 99 memory channels, direct frequency entry and a compact case (241 x 94 x 229 mm) it works well as a handy second or travel receiver. It can run from mains or from 13.8 V DC.
