The Yaesu FT-8100 is a 2m/70cm dual-band mobile transceiver introduced in 1997, originally built primarily for the Japanese domestic market. Unlike the export version FT-8100R, it covers only the amateur bands (no wideband receiver) and delivers up to 20 watts on both bands.
