The Yaesu FT-747SX is a power-reduced export version of the 1987 FT-747GX, identical in chassis and features but limited to 10 watts on SSB/CW and 2.5 watts on AM (for markets with output restrictions). It likewise offers 20 battery-backed memory channels and CAT remote control.
