Description

Introduced in 1996, the Yaesu FT-50R was the first dual-band handheld certified to the rugged MIL-STD-810 military standard. Alongside classic 2m/70cm amateur operation, it offers an unusually wide receive range from 76 to 999 MHz (with US cellular band blocked) and 100 memory channels. A voice mail function and dual-watch operation round out its feature set.
