Description
The G106 is Xiegu's most affordable and most compact QRP entry-level rig (introduced in 2022), offering 5 watts of output, a 16-bit SDR receiver, and general coverage reception. Unlike the suitcase-style X-series radios, it has no built-in battery and runs off a 12V power supply, but is notably small and light, aimed at beginners and as a secondary portable station. Digital modes such as FT8 require an optional external adapter.
