Successor, more powerful two-piece base station consisting of a transmitter (FLDX-500) and receiver (FRDX-500). The FRDX-500 was the European Sommerkamp version of the Yaesu FRdx-400 and offered a double-conversion receiver and optional 6m/2m converters, an advanced feature set for its time.
