Description
The TR-8400 (1981) was the newest and most advanced model in the series, replacing the crystal-controlled predecessors with PLL frequency synthesis and fine 25 kHz channel steps. Substantially more compact and lighter than earlier models, it offers 5 RAM memory channels backed by an external battery. Regional frequency variants covered both the European and US bands.
