Description

NOTE: Unlike the other radios in this overview, the Kenwood TM-255E is not a pure FM mobile unit but a selectable all-mode 2m mobile transceiver supporting FM, SSB, and CW operation. It features a detachable front panel for flexible vehicle mounting, TCXO frequency stability, and IF shift for SSB/CW use. The TM-255E remains regarded as one of the few mobile all-mode radios for 2m and enjoys an excellent reputation within the amateur radio community.
