Description

The Kenwood TM-2400 is an amateur radio mobile transceiver built on the TM-742 chassis, launched in 1992 primarily for the Japanese domestic market, with a fixed, rarely-used 13cm band (2400-2450 MHz). Optional plug-in band modules allow adding a second band from 10m, 6m, 2m, 70cm or 23cm, enabling a Twin RX function. With just 1 watt of output on 13cm, it is designed as a short-range/experimental rig for this uncommon band.
